REVIVAL COHORT RETREAT

Fri Mar 13, 2026 3:00 PM - Sun Mar 15, 2026 5:00 PM Wildfern Grove, 98385

Midway through our Cohort, about 30 of us will gather at a magical intentional community venue just north of Mt. Tahoma (Rainier) to connect, learn and dive deeply into who we are as holistic conveners this day in age. Through time spent in circle, in nature, and breaking bread together our intention is to bring greater coherence to our individual offerings, and greater courage in bringing them to life.

We hope you’ll join us for this magical weekend of workshops, networking, hot tubs, catered food, and the surfacing of our visions for a better world around peers we trust. (Between Now - February 28th, you must Reserve Your Spot Through This RSVP Spreadsheet. We’re capping it at 30 people total: First come, first served!)

FURTHER RETREAT DETAILS

SPACE HOLDERS – Ben Browner, Anna Haakon, Terry Pooler, Bridgett Winters and others will be helping to guide our time together (along with Annie Gustafson & Craig Ivey of WIldfern Grove). Our intention as conveners is to bring flow & engagement to the group dynamics, while inviting us all into a brave space for expression and learning. Different people will pick up the baton at different times, always listening for the deeper chord.

CURRICULUM – Together we will explore a wide array of learning and connection opportunities, including but not limited to: Plenary sessions, peer-led workshops, connection games, dance & movement sessions, and group ritual. Within these containers we’ll dive deep into the “special sauce” of event production, we’ll excavate our personal visions, get peer support, set goals, and unearth rich opportunities for collaboration. (More info soon).

CATERED MEALS – Sarah and Asher Walden will be our onsite retreat chefs. They live at Wildfern Grove with their 3 incredible children, and cook exquisite food for Wildfern’s events! They’ll provide their signature “healthy comfort food” from dinner on Friday night through lunch on Sunday. We collected all of your food allergies and preferences in our Cohort Registration Form, and they’ll make sure we’re all set to go! (Reach out to Ben with any questions here).

HOT TUB SESSIONS – The hot tub on the deck of the “Dome Home” at Wildfern is available for use at any time of the day or night, though there are quiet hours between 10pm-8am, and you must shower beforehand. The hot tub is clothing optional, but guests are more than welcome & encouraged to stay clothed! The hot tub is not a space for sexual or objectifying energy. It is for relaxing and unwinding only. No variations from these guidelines will be tolerated. (Enjoy!)

MUSIC & MERRIMENT – In typical Revival fashion, we’ll be playing some great music and imbibing in good vibes throughout our time together. This may look like ecstatic dance, group singing, cuddle puddles, or just deep conversation over a good glass of wine. However you choose to engage is perfect, and there are no expectations of you, other than staying in sober connection, taking care of yourself, and taking care of those around you. (We’re in this together. Let’s act like it!)

CARPOOLING – If you’d like to carpool to the Cohort Retreat, fill out this Carpooling Form! There are spaces for both offering rides and needing rides, along with the geographical area you’re coming from.

WILDFERN GROVE

OUR RETREAT VENUE – Wildfern Grove is a 40 acre intentional community and event venue tucked into the hills outside of Buckley WA. Started 5 years ago by Craig Ivy & Katie Kovacich, there are now about 17 people living there and contributing to the flourishing of the property. They have communal dinners, work on land projects, and run small businesses together.

Here is Wildfern Grove’s Main Website to get a better idea of the venue and community. (FYI: As a cohort, we will have access to a 30’ Yurt for gathering, a large kitchen & communal space for meals, a hot tub for soaking, a large sunny lawn for relaxing, an indoor bathroom/shower, and several outdoor bathrooms/showers. These venue elements are all with 500’ from each other, but it does require rustic outdoor navigating between spaces.

SLEEPING AREAS – People are welcome to rent sleeping space offsite, and can find such amenities through short term rental websites. For those staying onsite, there are small rustic yurts to rent for those who need, there are a plethora of tent camping spots, you can sleep in our 30’ Retreat Yurt, or you can sleep in the “Gym Barn” onsite. (No sleeping in the kitchen / communal space please).

YURT RENTALS – These small yurts are available for rental to elders and those with bodily needs that require a separate sleeping space. (No questions asked, but please reserve for those with true needs, as there are only 2 out of 5 still available at this point). The rental cost is $100/night and must be rented for both Friday & Saturday night by paying Revival directly.

Here is Wildfern Grove’s Rental Site to get a better idea of these accommodations. (FYI: They are fairly rustic, do not have attached bathrooms or showers, and being yurts in Western Washington, sensitive people may find them to be slightly mildewy).
