THE INVITATION

Come join us in a 1000 person circle under a 24’ hanging globe, in a world-renowned cathedral, for a participatory concert experience like none other ... Let us come together in these times of societal division to sing, dance & pray into the beauty of what unites us as humans ... Let us gather during this harvest season, under the glow of our Mother Earth, giving voice to the hard truths and hearty gifts at the core of our collective story ... Invite your friends and family. This is something that you'll carry in your hearts for many years to come... (Also: This is like several riveting concerts in one night, something that you and your loved ones will seriously enjoy 😉). 

THE SETTING

Imagine 1000 humans together under the majestic architecture of St. Mark's Cathedral. Imagine a circular stage at the center of us all, encircled by culture tenders from every continent, directly under a gigantic suspended Earth. Imagine dozens of rugs, floor pillows, pews and chairs in concentric circles throughout the cathedral. Imagine dynamic lighting and immersive surround sound bringing us all into resonance as we listen to - and sing with - some of the most engaging musicians, ritualists & storytellers of our modern era.

THE PRAYER

May we remember that in a circle everything is connected and everyone belongs ... May we be supported in calling upon the gods of deep culture & cathedral to join us in a rowdy evening of joyous praise ... May we honor the holy loom upon which the tapestry of our past is still being woven, while singing out as if 7 future generations depended upon our chorus for their wholeness ... May we offer up this true Thanks-giving in gratitude for all that we have, in service to all those who need it, and in praise to all the miracles of our Dearest. Mother. Earth.

EVENING SCHEDULE

4:00PM  Doors Open  (Arrive early, get a prime seat, grab food & drink from our vendors, and enjoy your neighbors! We'll be facilitating small group connection activities and directing some moving choir numbers until our official start time).

5:45PM  Opening Circle - Participants MUST Arrive By 5:45pm At The Latest!!!  This is a "closed container." (An event that requires a through-line of presence & participation. Thank you for understanding. - FYI: Leaving early is fine, though you will miss out ;-)

6-8PM  Native American prayer, story, flute & song for our Earth.  Morrocan wailing ballads to the Mother.  Inter-tribal Latin women's drumming & song.  African djembe troupe laying down a wild drum & dance party!

8:00PM  Intermission  (Stretch your legs, grab food & drink from our vendors, & connect with your neighbors!)

8:30-10:45PM  A bellowing African American gospel group celebrating sanctuary & soul.  Mystical R&B style participatory explosion of song.  Earth-based lyrical freestyling, combined with ecstatic multicultural drumming & dancing!

10:45-11PM  Closing Circle - A integrative choir of synthesis from all continents...

11:00PM  Event Ends  (Everybody must clear out by Midnight, thank you).

TERRA EXHIBITION

THE CIRCLE concert weekend is a culmination of the 2 week “Terra Exhibition” at St. Mark’s Cathedral, (produced by Orbis Globes and Revival Gatherings) ... From Nov 9th-23rd 2026 a 24’ museum-grade NASA Earth Globe will be suspended from the cathedral ceiling, internally-lit, slowly rotating, lowered down during exhibition hours and set to a backdrop of beautiful audio. Tell your friends and family, this "world-class" exhibition is literally the most beautiful representation of Earth ON Earth... You don't want to miss this awe-inspiring and contemplative opportunity.

REVIVAL GATHERINGS

Revival Gatherings are highly participatory in nature. Despite what you may have been told about your voice, we wholeheartedly welcome your courageous engagement... We're honored to host revered culture tenders and wisdom keepers from many corners of the Earth, offering up their gifts through prayer and song throughout the evening... In typical Revival fashion, there will be many unique and experimental musical configurations throughout the evening that will never happen again... Paul Chiyokten Wagner  (Coast Salish Flutist & Storyteller)  For decades Chiyokten has sang, marched, prayed, taught, and led from the heart in order to protect the wellbeing of the natural world. Whether in a courtroom, a conference, a classroom or a canoe: He shares his love of the sacred to all with ears to hear. Sara Tone (Looping Earth-Based Lyricist) As a musician, educator, and ecologic advocate, Sara Tone has shared her love songs to the Earth for decades. Expressing herself through powerful lyrics, blended harmonies, dynamic guitar, and an assortment of percussion instruments and beatboxing all live-looped in rhythmic exaltation, you can imagine a dep world-folk vibe, with an undeniable hip-hop influence. Sisters of The One Drum (Sewa Valencia, Sophia Perez, Tachi Ria & Lucero Gonzalez)  Sewa and the Sister's mission is to foster cultural understanding and unity through powerful indigenous women's drum circles. They provide a platform to strengthen the voices of inter-tribal women, recognizing their unique musical gifts to be in service of culture change. The Sisters celebrate differences, while contributing to a more harmonious society. Expect 4 powerful women on a huge mother drum, singing wild harmonies at full volume and pitch. Rebecca Elatiki (Moroccan American Ritual Vocalist)  Rebecca Elatiki's genre-bending sound reflects the richness of a multi-layered identity. Blending haunting and ethereal vocals, Rebecca seamlessly weaves ancient melodies into modern, experimental compositions—creating a sonic world that feels both familiar and otherworldly. Rebecca's work is deeply guided by a commitment to social impact. As a former social worker and foster care alumni, she uses her background to engage with at-risk youth and adults, bringing music mentorship, and ritual into transformative community spaces. Black Medicine  (Aaron Johnson, Alillia Johnson & Travis Johnson)  A sonic ancestral reclamation and ritual song circle carried by siblings of the African diaspora who grew up singing together in the high desert of southern California. Curated for singers and non-singers alike, this family creates a space where we can receive emotional nourishment by disrupting the notion that we cannot sing, bringing healing to the pain incurred around our voices. Black Medicine makes each song a sonic tent that is welcoming for all who sing under it. Bring your hearts and join in the ritual of this vocal nest. Earth Practice (Jessi Rado, Brian Yam Dwyer & Yin Dwyer)  are a Bellingham-based trio of acappella song carriers who guide community into ecstatic experiences through original, easy-to-catch songs that activate the soul and feel good inside! Earth Practice believes that music is a shared language between people, and a medicine by which communities are made stronger and more vibrant. Their unique blend of musical influences place them in a category all their own, their live shows are often highly interactive and intimate, striking a unique balance between harmonization, improvisation, listening and play. Denbaya Djembe Troupe (Guinean Drumming & African Dance Teachers)  Denbaya means "family" in Susu, one of Manimou Camara's primary languages. These drummers are more than just a group of people who make music and dance; they are a family. Being with Denbaya means sharing in the group's commitment to unity and compassion. Come join Denbaya's joyfully rhythmic commitment to unity and compassion as they invite us to make this music our own and really dance! Max Ribner  (Circle Song Composer & Conductor)  Max Ribner weaves an incredible ensemble with many featured artists to create a powerful celebration of music, connection, and collective resilience. This is a collection of modern-day mantras and torch-bearing songs to bring the listener into a sense of coming home to Self. These songs are written for future generations, for slowing down, for creating longer lasting relationships and for piecing ourselves back together. Samantha Sweetwater (Wisdom Teacher & Kinship Facilitator)  Samantha has ritually guided individuals and organizations across the world through journeys of personal, cultural, ecological, and spiritual regeneration. As a soul mentor to visionary leaders and culture shapers, she supports humans to reclaim wholeness, redefine purpose, and develop edge-pushing leadership in service to human and more-than-human flourishing. Alyx Somas  (Culture Tender and Reindigenization Practitioner)  is a 2S Native Northern American sharing indigenous wisdom to help humanity re-member our sacred beauty and interdependence. Their work is a labor for pan-cultural revival, remembering our ancestral reverence for all that lives while reimagining belonging within the ecosystems of modernity. They hold community circle, ceremony, and consultation for organizations. • St. Mark’s parking is a challenge, come early!

• Do NOT park in fire lanes or block access.

• Chairs cushioned, bring pillow if floor sitting!
  
  

• Children who can honor silence are welcome.

• Take care of yourself, use restroom at will.

• There'll be a documentary made of the event.
